Mumbwa West

 

Mumbwa West is bordered by the Kafue National Park on two sides with a river front along the entire length of its western boundary. The picturesque area of hills and valleys has very marked qualities and is a very good hunting area.

 

Wildlife

Its reputation speaks for itself, and has been the destination known for its big maned and bodied lion in addition to large Tom Leopards.

The safari Club international record book provides that many of the top Sable Antelope trophies have come from the Kafue region of Zambia and Mumbwa West. Lichensteins Hartebeest, Crayshaws Defassa Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Oribi and Puku are also very common here.

Camp

Consisting of 3 permanent chalets situated on the river front of the famous Kafue River. Teaming with bird life, hippo and crocodile with amazing cuisine and wifi available.

How to get there:

The camp is only a 4 hour drive from Lusaka or if preferred a charter is just 45 minutes.
